Louise Chunn
Editor, Good Housekeeping
Louise Chunn has been Editor of Good Housekeeping for two years, but has spent all her working life as a journalist. Graduating with a degree in history in her homeland New Zealand, she started out interviewing pop stars, from Fleetwood Mac to The Ramones, for her local paper in Auckland. She then spent a year in the US, before landing in London - "And I've never looked back!" She was in on the launch of iconic teen magazine Just Seventeen then moved to Elle as Deputy Editor, The Guardian as Women's Page Editor, Vogue as Features Director then Deputy Editor, then ES Magazine and In Style both of which she edited. A mother of three, she has firm opinions about the serious stuff of life, but she loves frivolity and fashion as much as the next woman. Looking good, wearing something that really suits us, making the most of ourselves - these things are instant pick-me-ups for any woman, whatever their age.
"30 Days of Fashion and Beauty is great for Good Housekeeping readers. They love being involved in anything the magazine organises for them - and they love hearing about what is happening trend-wise. "
Louise's fashion must-have: My prescription sunglasses! They are multi-purpose: I can see through them; they cover my baggy eyes; they are a great design from Gucci.
