Before joining Cosmopolitan in February 2007, Louise was Editorial Director of ACP-Natmag, overseeing best, Reveal and Real People. Prior to this she was Editor of best magazine for seven years, Deputy Editor of Prima, Deputy Editor of best and Assistant Editor of Woman's Own.

Louise came into the magazine industry from the Daily Express where she was a showbiz reporter covering news and features, and writing her own column. She also previously worked at the Sunday Express, Daily Mail and Mail On Sunday, and trained at local papers in Sussex and Surrey at the beginning of her career.
